What Once Was, New York City, NY

Complexity of cityscapes can be overwhelming. My goal of painting New York City, accented by the World Trade Center Towers, was to simplify the detail and let color, rather than detail, do the talking.

This one is my favorite in this series. You accomplished what you set out to do with the use of color instead of detail, very unique aspect.
