This is the third painting I've done of my grandson. He provides an endless source of creative inspiration. I find the simplest photos taken with my phone often capture the most intimate moments that make the best painting. In this case, he was squatting down to pick up something of interest in the grass. I removed the clutter of the photographs background and used my new found technique of letting the colors and water run down the slanted paper. [...]
